Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Bosko, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Bosko is an AI-powered faith companion that provides:

• Ask Bosko — spiritual conversations tailored to your Christian tradition
• Prayer tools including guided prayers, rosary, chotki, daily office, and prayer intentions
• Bible reading, daily readings, and scripture memory features
• Liturgical calendar and tradition-specific content
• Spiritual journey tracking with streaks, achievements, and progress metrics

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Each person may maintain only one account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

When using Bosko, you agree to:

• Engage respectfully with the AI companion and community features
• Not attempt to manipulate, exploit, or misuse the AI system
• Not use the service to generate harmful, hateful, or inappropriate content
• Not scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying AI models
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

• Bosko is an AI companion, not a substitute for pastoral care, professional counseling, or medical advice.
• While we strive for theological accuracy across traditions, AI-generated content may contain errors.
• For important spiritual, theological, or personal matters, we encourage you to seek guidance from your local clergy, pastor, or qualified counselor.
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated spiritual content.

• Bosko offers free Bible reading, private journaling, and basic prayer tools. AI conversations and journal reflections require Bosko Plus. The publicly available Plus plans are weekly and annual; eligible subscribers can start a seven-day trial. The price, currency, billing period, and trial eligibility are shown before you confirm a subscription.
• Bosko Plus renews automatically unless cancelled. Web subscriptions are billed through Stripe; iOS and Android subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. If you start a free trial, cancel before it ends to avoid a charge. After the trial, the subscription renews for the billing period and price shown when you subscribe. Manage or cancel a web subscription in Bosko billing settings, or a store subscription in the store where you subscribed.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period (you keep access until then). On iOS, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, open the Google Play Store → Subscriptions; on the web, use your Bosko account Settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. When account deletion is completed, Bosko cancels web subscriptions. App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled separately in the store to stop renewal.
• Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies, and refund requests for those purchases must be made directly to Apple or Google. For web purchases billed through Stripe, contact us and we will handle refund requests in accordance with applicable law.

• The Bosko application, including its design, features, and AI technology, is owned by us.
• You retain ownership of content you create (prayer intentions, journal entries, etc.).
• By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content to provide the service.
• Scripture content is sourced from publicly available Bible translations and used in accordance with their respective licenses.

• You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Bosko is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Bosko after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
