48. But are not the two natures in Christ separated from each other in this way, if the human nature is not present wherever the divine nature is?

Answer

Not at all, for since the divine nature is incomprehensible and everywhere present, it must follow that it is indeed beyond the bounds of the human nature which it has assumed, but is nevertheless in this human nature as well, and remains personally united to it.
