Potom byl svátek Židovský, i šel Ježíš do Jeruzaléma. Byl pak v Jeruzalémě rybník bravný, kterýž slove Židovsky Bethesda, patero přístřeší maje. Kdež leželo množství veliké neduživých, slepých, kulhavých, suchých, očekávajících hnutí vody. Nebo anděl jistým časem sstupoval do rybníka, a kormoutil vodu. Protož kdož nejprvé sstoupil po tom zkormoucení vody, uzdraven býval, od kterékoli nemoci trápen byl.
