Niemand zundet ein Licht an und setzt es an einen heimlichen Ort, auch nicht unter einen Scheffel, sondern auf den Leuchter, auf daß, wer hineingehet, das Licht sehe. Das Auge ist des Leibes Licht. Wenn nun dein Auge einfaltig sein wird, so ist dein ganzer Leib licht. So aber dein Auge ein Schalk sein wird, so ist auch dein Leib finster. So schaue darauf, daß nicht das Licht in dir Finsternis sei! Wenn nun dein Leib ganz licht ist, daß er kein Stuck von Finsternis hat, so wird er ganz licht sein und wird dich erleuchten wie ein heller Blitz.
