Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Feast day
June 28

Life

This memorial honors the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrated the day after the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It recalls Mary's interior life of love, sorrow, and compassion united to the heart of her Son. Pope Pius XII consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart in 1942, and the celebration was later extended to the universal Church.

The saint of the day, every day
