Life

Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938) was a Polish nun of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy whose diary recorded visions of Jesus and his message of Divine Mercy. Her writings inspired the Divine Mercy devotion and the Feast of Divine Mercy celebrated on the Sunday after Easter. She was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2000.
