Life
Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690) was a French Visitation nun at Paray-le-Monial who received visions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus between 1673 and 1675. Guided by her confessor, Saint Claude de la Colombiere, she spread devotion to the Sacred Heart, including the practice of First Friday Communion and the Holy Hour. She was canonized in 1920.
The saint of the day, every day
Bosko shows you the saint the Church honors today, every day — their story, today's feast, and where they fall in your tradition's liturgical calendar, so a feast that matters to you never quietly slips past.
