Life

Therese of Lisieux was a French Carmelite nun who entered the cloister at fifteen and died of tuberculosis at twenty-four. Her 'Little Way' of spiritual childhood, trusting God through small acts of love, and her autobiography made her one of the most beloved modern saints. A Doctor of the Church, she is patron of missionaries and florists, honored October 1.
