Life
This feast celebrates the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Saint Juan Diego on Tepeyac hill near Mexico City in December 1531, when she appeared as a mestiza woman and left her image on his tilma. The image is enshrined in the Basilica of Guadalupe, one of the world's most visited Marian shrines. She is venerated as the patroness of the Americas.
The saint of the day, every day
Bosko shows you the saint the Church honors today, every day — their story, today's feast, and where they fall in your tradition's liturgical calendar, so a feast that matters to you never quietly slips past.
