Life
John was the beloved disciple who leaned on Jesus' breast at the Last Supper and stood at the foot of the Cross, where Christ entrusted his mother to him. Traditionally credited with the fourth Gospel, three epistles, and the Book of Revelation, he died at Ephesus around the year 100.
