Vincent Ferrer (1350-1419) was a Dominican friar from Valencia and one of the most celebrated preachers in Church history. He traveled across western Europe for two decades preaching repentance, and his sermons were said to convert thousands, drawing vast crowds. He also worked to heal the Western Schism that divided the papacy, and he is the patron saint of builders.
